Service Questions

What is a Source of Funds investigation?

A Source of Funds (SOF) investigation traces where your cryptocurrency came from—documenting the complete chain of custody from origin to your wallet. This is often required by banks, legal proceedings, or regulatory bodies to verify legitimate fund origins.

Can you track funds across multiple blockchains?

Yes, we can track funds across blockchain bridges and multiple networks. Our reports maintain continuity of the fund trail regardless of which chains were used.

Do you analyze DeFi protocol interactions?

Yes, we decode and analyze interactions with all major DeFi protocols including Uniswap, Aave, Compound, Raydium, and hundreds more. We can identify liquidity provisions, lending positions, swaps, and yield farming activities.

Can you help with stolen crypto?

Yes, we offer fraud investigation services to trace stolen funds. While we cannot directly recover funds, we can identify which exchanges received them, enabling law enforcement subpoenas and civil recovery efforts. Time is critical—contact us immediately for theft cases.

What's included in your reports?

Reports typically include an executive summary, complete transaction history with annotations, visual fund flow diagrams, entity identification, methodology documentation, and raw data in Excel format. Specific contents vary by service type.

Technical Questions

How do you handle privacy coins?

Privacy coins like Monero have limited traceability by design. We can analyze transactions before and after funds enter/exit privacy coins, but cannot trace within the privacy coin network itself.

Can you track funds through mixers?

While mixers are designed to obscure transaction trails, we can often identify probable connections through timing analysis, amount correlation, and behavioral patterns. Results vary by mixer type.

Do you support hardware wallet analysis?

Hardware wallets generate standard blockchain addresses. We can analyze any address regardless of what wallet software was used to create it.

What data sources do you use?

We use direct blockchain data from full nodes, enhanced APIs (like Helius for Solana), and our proprietary entity database. All data is verifiable on public block explorers.
